In order to collect the new year's blessings from the global game development companies for Chinese players, we have sent an email to ArenaNet which will issue MMORPG Guild Wars2 this year. We have explained the Chinese New Year customs to them and hope to get blessings from them. But there is no response from them for a long time. When we are about to lose heart, Mike O’Brien the founder and president of ArenaNet issued an open letter named welcome to dragon year though the game's official website.
It is said in the letter that today is the first day of Chinese dragon year. This is a very good omen as aMMORPG closely related to the dragon which will be operating this year. He wishes Chinese players a Happy New Year and hope they would like this game.
In the letter he has reviewed the manifestations of Guild Wars2 on various exhibitions in 2011. He also said that the players would see more new contents about the game. We have already finished the close beta test of this game and received a good result. Moreover, there will be more extensive tests in April or May. By doing so, more and more players can experience the charming of Guild Wars2. It will be put into operation in the end of the year.
